New Fantasyland Construction - 1983
Slides my father took in mid-1983, of the big Fantasyland remodel. First up, the sign/wall blocking off access to the land from the front:

Those are great Regions! I especially love the one of the whale seemingly breeching itself from the very depths of the earth itself! Whenever construction is done at the Park and you see real world stuff, like cars and construction gear you really see how dinky the place actually is and just how well all that 'forced perspective' really does work. Thanks for yet another ghreat share, and thanks to the senior Regions (or is that the senior 'Beyond'() for taking these in the first place.
